On July 1st, 1993, the President of the Republic signed a Decree Nº:93/172 of 1st July 1993) creating the GCE Board. The decree empowered the Board to organize the General Certificate of Education examinations at the Ordinary and Advanced Levels.

The Transition Management Team of the GCE Board is pleased to inform the general public and especially candidates of the 2024 Examinations organized by the Board that the Board has today, 24 th July 2024, released results of the 2024 GCE Board Certificate Examinations. Candidates will be able to verify their results at the centres where they registered for the examination. In addition, the Results may read on the radio. Candidates should obtain their results slips from their registration centres. Results have been published for the following Examinations: GCE Advanced Level, GCE Ordinary Level, Technical and Vocational Education, Advanced Level and Technical, Vocational Education, Intermediate Level.

On behalf of the GCE Board, the Transition Management Team places here on record, his appreciation to the following institutions/individuals whose devoted participation contributed to the successful organization of the June 2024 examinations:

  1. SEEPD Bamenda for the provision of an automatic brailling machine that has over the years greatly facilitated the work of the Board on the brailling of questions for candidates with visual impairment.
  2. b) All Regional and Divisional Delegates of Secondary Education, Principals of schools, all Superintendents, Invigilators and Supervisors of Practical Examinations.
  3. c) All Assessors, Chief Examiners, Assistant Chief Examiners, Lead Examiners, and Examiners
  4. d) Principals of Institutions used as Marking Centres: We extend our gratitude to all Centre Authorities whose institutions were used as Marking Centres: PCSS Buea, BHS Buea, BGS Molyko, GHS Bokwaongo-Buea, GHS Buea Town, GTHS Buea, BCHS Buea, ST. THERESE Buea and KINGSTON Buea..
  5. e)Staff of the GCE Board for their undiluted spirit of integrity, assiduity and loyalty.
  6. f) CANDIDATES: The Board extends its hearty congratulations to all successful candidates and especially to their principals, teachers, parents and boards of governors/ management boards.

We urge all unsuccessful candidates to draw inspiration from their set back and study harder for the 2025 examinations.
