Practice Committee
The TPTA Practice Committee serves as a resource and provides support to the membership in understanding and utilizing the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Act. A talented and experienced group of our TPTA PT & PTA colleagues from a variety of settings and specialty areas have volunteered to serve the membership in this capacity. As APTA members, many resources are made available via section list serves and message boards. However, this committee will give TPTA members a group of local experts who are most familiar with clinical practice in the state of Texas.
GOAL: Promote the highest standards of PT practice through educational offerings, communications, and advocacy.
- Promote resources available to members through the chapter website, newsletters, and meetings.
- Cultivate innovative, convenient methods by which PTs and PTAs can acquire and integrate professional knowledge and skills.
- Promote continuing education opportunities and resources to allow for clinical practice development of all PTs and PTAs.
